Screening Test for Inherited Diseases (STID)
Description
STID is a screening test for future parents to exclude that they are a carrier of 175 genetic disorders, including cystic fibrosis, spinal muscular atrophy, mental retardation, deafness, blindness, and many other genetic disorders.

Sample
The sample needed is 5 µg DNA or 5 ml EDTA blood to be sent at room temperature.
